Today is the first day of Fall, and I'm kicking the season off with this Fall look I wore to brunch with Kimmy. We started off the day with a light brunch, walked around downtown Bellevue and stopped to take these pictures right in front of this building. It had such a foreign feel to it and I was immediately smitten.

I'm all for dresses that work in most seasons, because it simply means I don't have to completely clear out my summer wardrobe! I wore this dress during the summer without tights, and with converses instead of the ankle boots I have on here, and I'm glad I still get a few more wears out of it this Fall. To amp the look up a little bit, I went for this red coat I picked up last Fall from Anthropologie. It's so soft, I could sleep in it!

I have to say I love LOVE Fall in Seattle and as a season on its own. The leaves are just lovely, with spectacular colors from vibrant reds and oranges to brilliant golds and yellows. The fashion scene is more vivid and creative! And I'm also excited about all the holidays coming up - the Nigerian Independence Day (Oct 1st), Halloween and Thanksgiving!

What are you most excited about Fall this year? :)

Stay Smart; Stay Beautiful,
