It took a while to hunt down this cape with an unusual cut and style at a time where everyone was in on capes and it was definitely worth the wait. I saw this gem while listlessly scrolling through Zara's site after a long day, and I knew I had to get it! It is so comfortable, and gives me room to be creative! Especially on a typical Seattle day (which by the way, I absolutely don't mind. The gloomy rainy days are starting to grow on me! What!?), with the perfect temperature to throw it on.

I find that I tend to struggle a little when people ask what style type I have on. So, what would you call this look? Casual chic? I'd actually love to know! Sometimes I'm more aware of where my inspiration is coming from, but honestly on other days, if it feels good and looks good, I just run with it and somehow it works out. :)

On a different note - Lately I've been strongly inspired by different (from my usual) types of music, art, poetry, language, fashion, style etc.. It's like all of sudden my life has a new flavor and I'm loving it (or maybe I'm just becoming more aware of it, who knows?). I plan on sharing some of these inspirations on here with you guys as I try to figure out how to reflect a fusion through my style this summer and life in general. If I lost you a little here, perhaps my next post will help with this. :D

Happy hump day my loves, hope this week has been kind to you thus far. <3
