ACT IV

This week leading up to Christmas has been rough and incredibly busy! - I've been recovering from the flu, trying to keep up with my schedule and traveling cross country. I got into Orlando earlier today (aka my second home) and it feels so good to be back and surrounded with family! I get to relax these next couple of days before Christmas, reflect on how 2015 went, do a lot of cooking (AND eating), and hopefully spend sometime reading on the beach. :)

Talking about glamming up for the Holidays, the truth is - I went back to sneezing and coughing in bed right after this shoot, but getting dressed up and goofing around with Kimmy and Hector made me feel a lot better in the time being, and made my sick day more bearable. They are the best! (Make sure you check out Kimmy's post here :D). I wore this beaded dress to my birthday dinner last year, and this time around I paired them with red heels and lipstick to make for a festive Holiday glam look. I decided to go with colors I don't usually wear - navy blue and red, and I'm loving the juxtaposition of the two. It's the right amount of contrast for me, and I love that it doesn't come off as your typical holiday palette.
